With huge thanks to everyone who donated, bought, bid, baked, preserved, painted, made wreaths, produced pottery, printed cards, sold, braved the wet and the wind… Graffham St Giles Great Virtual 2020 Christmas Fair is set to break all records, raising an astonishing… drumroll… almost £7,000. See the separate auction, raffle, home produce and craft stall pages by following the links below and also December’s Graffham Parish News for further updates and photos.
St Giles’ Christmas Fair is traditionally a great chance for catching up with neighbours while nabbing some wonderful Christmas presents – as you can see from the archive photos below.
It is also usually one of the main fund-raising events for our village’s church and parish. Coronavirus restrictions means it can’t take place as usual this year… but key elements are still going ahead, in virtual fashion.
With great thanks to many generous donors, we have some amazing prizes in the raffle and fabulous lots in the auction – unique experiences or treats that, normally, money could not buy, delicious food and drinks, many sourced from within our own village, and some fab “not on the high street” items that would make perfect Christmas gifts. And some of Graffham’s best cooks will be contributing cakes, pies, preserves, conserves and other goodies to the roving produce stall, while some of our artistic neighbours will be opening their studios for you to snap up some unique gifts.
Please give generously to help safeguard the future of our historic St Giles Church and Graffham parish and all they do for our village – and if you’d like to support them on a more regular basis, then see our Giving pages.
