Christmas Fair

A major fundraising event for the parish is the Christmas Fair held in the Empire Hall on the first Saturday in December, between 10am and 2pm. The fair is very popular, an enjoyable occasion for the whole village with festive stalls, raffle, silent auction, home-made produce, bric-a-brac and general conviviality. Tea, coffee, mulled wine, mince pies are served at the event and soup served with crusty bread for lunch. And Father Christmas usually visits with his elf. Please see What’s On for details at that time of year.

Help is always needed running the Christmas Fair. If you would like to help, donate gifts for raffle or auction or would like more information, please contact Reverend Vivien, a Churchwarden or the Parish Secretary in the first instance. See Contact and Find us for their contact details.
