St Peter’s Woolavington

St Peter’s Woolavington

St Peter’s Woolavington is a beautiful and historic church in the parish of Graffham with Woolavington, one of the ‘Shepherd’s Churches’ of the Sussex South Downs. A definitive history and visitors’ guide to St Peters was written by Joscelyn Johnson, the widow of Canon Johnson who brought Seaford College to Lavington Park. St Peter’s Woolavington is no longer open for regular services and has become the College Chapel of Seaford College. There are occasional services at the Chapel however, to which members of the public are invited. The Crib Service on Christmas Eve is a popular event in the Church and Village year.
